According to TMZ , the GiveSendGo page created by Anthony’s mother climbed above $630,000 before the platform removed it following the June 9 conviction. The Washington Times reported the campaign, titled the “Help Karmelo Official Fund” and organized by his mother, Kala Hayes, was posted on April 15, 2025. This was less than two weeks after the stabbing stating an initial goal approaching $1.4 million.
